Regional Work

In addition to the Helsinki-based head office, the Association of Care Giving Relatives and Friends has four regional offices in Salo, Pieksämäki, Pori and Rovaniemi with one regional counsellor respectively.

In cooperation with the organization manager of the Association, regional counsellors perform as coordinators, counsellors and implementers in their regions.

METHODS OF REGIONAL WORK INCLUDE:

• Care management, care management pilot projects
• Arrangements of breaks and holidays for care givers, semi volunteer activities
• Regional supervision of interests, information, counselling and guidance
• Regional cooperation in matters of family care giving, cooperation networks
• Regional counselling, training, courses, consulting of family care givers, groups and local associations
• Regional material production
